Welcome to our Induction and Safeguarding Course
It is a prerequisite for all people working with children to complete regular safeguarding training.
Principal Resourcing operate within the guidelines of DfE guidance “Keeping Children Safe in Education” to promote the welfare of children and young people.
The course begins with a video giving an induction into working with Principal Resourcing and offers important safeguarding information. (Please watch this video before completing the Level 1 course).
Once you have watched the video, you can then move on to the Safeguarding Level 1 course made up of 4 modules which give basic awareness of safeguarding and child protection.
If you are completing this course as a refresher and already part of our team, you are welcome to watch the induction video, but it is not essential.
Modules
1. An introduction to safeguarding
2. What is child abuse?
3. How to recognise signs of abuse
4. How to deal with concerns
At the end of the course you will have an exam to ensure you have understood the course. If you complete the test with a score of 80% or above you will receive a certificate. If you do not pass the test you will be able to re sit. We recommend you take notes and go through the information more thoroughly when retaking the course.
This course will be updated as necessary and we recommend that you complete this every 2 years or if you return to us on supply.
