Principal Resourcing are actively recruiting for an experienced and organised Year 6 Teacher to join the supportive staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Pontefract, Wakefield.
The full-time role is available with immediate start for the right applicant and will initially be on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, to meet the needs of pupils across the Year 6 Classroom. Previous experience teaching a range of subjects across the KS2 curriculum is essential, whilst ensuring effective pupil engagement, strong behaviour management and consistent learning that meets the diverse needs of pupils within your care.
The Primary School offers an inclusive place of learning, that enables pupils to feel supported and confident to achieve to the best of their ability as part of the whole school community. Strong partnership with parents is encouraged to promote learning beyond the classroom and develop a child-centred approach to education that strengthens pupil understanding, knowledge and progression across a variety of subjects. You will work effectively as part of the existing staff team to support positive relationships, high quality learning and deepened understanding of topics.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience.
Skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- Previous experience delivering Primary Curriculum Subjects
