Are you an energetic and fitness focussed PE Teacher based in Bradford?
Here at Principal Resourcing, we are actively recruiting for a full-time Teacher of PE to join the welcoming staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in the BD4 area of Bradford. The role is expected to commence May 2025 and has the potential to become permanent for the right applicant.
You will responsible for delivering challenging and inclusive Sports and PE sessions to pupils across the key stage 3/4 curriculum, ensuring active participation and progression for students of all abilities. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.
Part of the STAR Academies Trust, the school caters for students aged 11-18 years, offering a challenging and rewarding curriculum experience that promotes respect, responsibility, pride and independence.
We welcome applications from experienced Teachers with relevant leadership skills, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience.
You ideal applicant will have:
- The ability to teach to GCSE standard
- A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent qualification or willingness to undertake the NPLQ immediately upon appointment. (Please note NPLQ courses often run during the school holidays and attendance would be required for the 5 day course during these times).
- Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
- Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
