Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Leeds.
The full-time role will have a particular focus on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential!
The Primary School offers a vibrant and happy community of learning, catering for pupils aged 3-11 years. Set in extensive and picturesque grounds, they aim to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum experience that recognises the individual talents of pupils and supports them to thrive.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.
The role will include:
- Working with children on a one to one and small group basis.
- Working in classes across school supporting children.
- Delivering evidence-based interventions for children with SEMH and SEND needs.
- Working closely with the SENDCo to plan and prioritise sessions for children.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- A kind, caring and consistent approach.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEMH pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
