We are seeking a confident and reliable Lead Cover Supervisor to join the vibrant staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Leeds (LS17).
The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of staff. You will be required to deliver set work, supervise and manage the behaviour of classes in line with school policies.
A good knowledge of the National Curriculum would be beneficial to the candidate, but is not essential. Candidates should have experience in the classroom and must have Level 3 qualifications or above.
The Secondary School offer a challenging and rewarding place for pupils to learn and become confident individuals, with a good understanding of a range of curriculum subjects and the ability. They are seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join their team, with the potential of a permanent role.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, you can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role.
The ideal applicant will have:
- GCSE Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Experience of working with young people.
- Ability to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects and situations.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
