Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking to appoint a confident and friendly Cover Supervisor to deliver a range of key stage 3/4 lessons in the Teachers short-term absence. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, effectively delivering pre-planned lessons and engaging students in learning.
The Secondary School and Sixth Form, located in WF10, are proud to offer a broad and balanced curriculum experience for students aged 11-18 years. Part of the Castleford Trust, they aim to promote an inclusive and safe community of learning where staff and pupils work together to achieve excellence for all.
You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and be available for immediate start to meet the needs of the school. The full-time role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, you can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role.
The ideal applicant will have:
- GCSE Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Experience of working with young people at KS 3/4
- Ability to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects and situations.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
