We are actively recruiting for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for pupils across the key stage 1/2 curriculum in the Teachers short-term absence.
You will ideally have experience in a similar role and be confident delivering a range of pre-planned subjects to support consistency in learning and improved understanding for pupils of all abilities. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for young people, providing the support they need to succeed!
The welcoming Primary School, based in Bradford (BD3) are part of the Star Academies trust and caters for pupils aged 3-11 years. They offer an ambitious curriculum experience, with a rich and diverse leadership programme that promotes inspirational and successful leaders. You will become a key part of the staff team, working closely on a full-time basis with Teachers to set high expectations for learning and positive outcomes for all.
This position has the potential to become permanent for the right applicant.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
You will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) relevant to working within education.
- Expertise/skills in a specialist subject or area.
- Practical experience of working with children within an educational setting.
- The ability to plan own role in lessons, including how feedback will be provided to pupils and colleagues on pupils’ learning and behaviour.
- The ability to contribute effectively to the selection and preparation of teaching resources that meet the diversity of pupils’ needs and interests.
We are seeking a HLTA with:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
