Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and experience Design Technology Teacher to join the staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Wakefield (WF1).
You will join a welcoming school environment, that places staff and students at the heart of everything they do! Focused on delivering high quality lessons for students across the key stage 3/4 DT curriculum, you must be confident adapting lesson input to meet their needs and work collaboratively as part of the existing staff team to promote positive progression and understanding of the DT subject.
The full time role is expected to commence September 2025 and will initially be on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover, although a permanent role may become available depending on the needs of the department. You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
We welcome applications from ECT’s with a specialism in DT and experienced Teachers, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 depending on experience.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
