Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of French to join one of our supportive Secondary Schools based in Pontefract (WF7).
The full-time role is expected to commence August 2025 – December 2025 initially and has the potential of extension dependent on the needs of the language department. You will be confident planning, delivering and marking French lessons across key stages 3/4, ensuring active engagement and positive progression for all students within your care.

You will join a strong staff team, enabling the effective delivery of high quality French lessons to support the faculty and ensure all students feel supported to learn and grow in all aspects of the curriculum.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.
Your role as a French Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students in learning & build confidence.
- Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care.
- Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
- Plan, deliver and assess student progression across the curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
