Here at Principal Resourcing, we are recruiting for a Level 3 Achievement Support Officer to join the early years classroom in one of our partnership Catholic Primary Schools, based in Hull. The full-time role is expected to commence September 2024 and may become permanent for the right applicant.

The Catholic Primary School strives to ensure all children are given the very best possible opportunities and learning experiences, equipping them to become confident, respectful individuals with a passion for learning and achievement. You will join the supportive staff team, engaging students in learning activities, delivering appropriate intervention and working collaboratively as an effective team. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable, although not essential.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on experience.


The school are seeking someone who:

  • Can inspire, motivate and engage all children in learning activities designed to ensure progress is made at every level;
  • Can establish productive working relationships with children, acting as a role model and setting high expectations;
  • Promotes independence and employs strategies to recognise and reward achievement;
  • Encourages children to interact and work co-operatively with others;
  • Can implement agreed learning activities within agreed systems of supervision, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses and needs;
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is committed to working within a supportive team;
  • Is willing to participate fully in ensuring inclusion of all children;
  • Is confident working with intervention groups and covering classes across the school.
  • Is an advocate of positive behaviour management based on relationships and understanding.
