Are you an experienced SENDCo seeking a new challenge?
We are actively recruiting for a confident and knowledgeable Assistant Principal SENDCo to join the vibrant staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Bradford, BD3. The role will provide maternity cover with start date to be agreed.
You will work in partnership with staff, parents, pupils and outside agencies to effectively enhance the support and interventions available for pupils with a range of SEND and behavioural needs and will must have previous experience as a SENDCo and be confident working in alternative provision.
The inclusive Academy School caters for students aged 11-16 within supportive surroundings, promoting a culture of educational excellence centred on trust, honesty, integrity and teamwork. Staff work hard, setting high expectations for behaviour and learning to ensure no child is left behind. Offering an ambitious curriculum that enables pupils to not only succeed academically, but to build upon their life skills and develop their character to become outstanding citizens.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, we welcome applications from experienced SENDCo’s.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Relevant SENDCo qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Alternative Provision desirable
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting the diverse needs of learners
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
