We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Business and IT Teacher to provide short-term sickness cover for pupils across the KS3/4 curriculum with immediate start. The vibrant Catholic Secondary School based in Wakefield are seeking an adaptive and friendly Teacher to provide a seamless transition for students, enabling them to effectively progress and feel supported within the learning environment.
The school are seeking a flexible practitioner with the confidence to teach across Years 7-11, with the possibility of some sixth-form cover depending on the successful candidates experience. You will join a supportive place of learning, where staff and students work in partnership as part of a whole school community. The role will initially be on a short-term basis until at least February half term, this may be extended depending on the needs of the school.
You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role dependent on experience, we welcome applications from experienced Teachers or ECT’s with a strong background in Business/IT at Secondary level.
We are seeking a Business/IT Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
