We have a wonderful opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to provide daily lesson cover across one of our partnership Secondary Schools in Leeds, with immediate start!
The inclusive Secondary School is part of the STAR Academies Trust, focused on high achievement for all and a supportive place of learning that aids students to build confidence across a range of subjects. You will join strong staff team, supporting the delivery of lessons in the Teachers absence and promoting positive interactions and engagement from all students.
You must be confident delivering lessons at KS3/4 in the Teachers absence, ensuring students are participating in lessons and classroom behaviour is managed effectively. You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, this position may be suitable for an ECT seeking to strengthen their teaching skills and knowledge.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience and the role requirements.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Previous experience delivering lessons at KS3/4
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Minimum Grade C or above in GCSE Maths, English & Science.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
