We are actively recruiting for an engaging and confident Cover Teacher to provide general teaching and learning support in the teachers absence, across our partnership Schools and Academies based in Castleford.
We have daily, short-term and long-term roles available with immediate start for the right applicants.
You will work within the mainstream classroom, providing supervision of pupil learning across KS3/4. You must be confident responding to questions, generally assisting students to undertake pre-set activities and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach to accommodate the diverse needs of students, including those with SEN and additional needs.
We offer competitive rates of pay, salary is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal applicant will have:
- A minimum of GCSE subjects in Maths, English, Science up to Grade C or equivalent
- Previous experience supporting the learning of students at KS3/4
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
