We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and confident Design Technology Teacher to join the DT Faculty at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in the LS15 area.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the DT curriculum, confident adapting learning and teaching strategy to meet the educational needs of students across key stages 3-5. Ideal applicants will have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to work well as part of the existing staff team.
The Secondary Academy are seeking a full-time DT Teacher from September 2025 – January 2026 in the first instance, with the possibility of extension dependent on the needs of the faculty. Part of the Red Kite Learning Trust, they offer a warm and welcoming learning environment that supports young people to excel in school and beyond.
You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role dependent on experience, ECT’s and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply.
We are seeking a DT Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
