Principal Resourcing are seeking to recruit a passionate and organised English Teacher on behalf of one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Kirklees.

The full-time role will initially be on a temporary basis and is expected to commence January 2024, there is the potential of a permanent role for the right candidate.

The School are seeking to appoint an ambitious and energetic Teacher with the ability to support KS3/KS4 learners to make excellent progress in one of the Core Subjects. You will lead and deliver outstanding teaching and learning of English supporting the Director of Learning. You will have a commitment to working alongside colleagues to continually enhance the provision for learners and offer flexibility to take teaching outside the classroom where necessary.

We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.

Skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • A relevant BA/MA in related subject
  • Previous experience of delivering curriculum subject up to GCSE and A-Level
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • ECT’s are welcome to apply
  • You must have Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship
