Food Technician – Secondary Long-Term Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a confident and organised Food Technician to work in one of Secondary Academies based in Richmond, with an expected start date of Easter 2026.
You will support the delivery of high quality food education by preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring a safe, hygienic learning environment for all students.
The welcoming Secondary School strives to deliver an inspiring and purposeful curriculum, that suitably prepares students for the rapidly changing world and supports them to reach their goals in education and beyond.
You will:
- Have a passion for food and nutrition with a keen interest in supporting students’ learning.
- Be organised, reliable, and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teaching staff and students.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene practices.
- Be proactive, resourceful, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced school environment.
- Have a positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning space.
