Principal Resourcing have a unique opportunity for a nurturing and organised Foundation Stage Teacher to join one of outstanding private schools based in North Yorkshire from September 2024, providing full-time teaching and learning support for pupils across the EYFS/KS1 curriculum.

The Ofsted rated ‘excellent’ boarding school offers a special place of learning for pupils aged 0-19 years, housing four unique schools within one seamless learning community. Offering an exceptionally caring and vibrant learning culture based on positive, mutually respectful relationships. The School aims to provide a progressive all-round education, preparing students for the challenges of adulthood and beyond.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Set challenging learning objectives with success criteria
  • Use the Early Years Curriculum to plan activities which allow opportunities for child-initiated and adult-led learning
  • Select and prepare resources, with the help of support staff where appropriate
  • Use agreed school planning system for all subject areas
  • Plan opportunities for children to learn in out of school contexts.
  • Monitor the progress of children and take appropriate action
  • Have high expectations of all children
  • Treat children with respect and consideration
  • Promote positive values, attitudes and behaviours

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
