Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a wonderful opportunity for a confident and passionate Geography Teacher to provide full-time Maternity Cover across one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Hull. You will ideally have previous experience delivering the Geography subject across KS3/4 and be confident working with the existing staff team to ensure consistency in learning and positive progression. Strong behaviour management is essential, as well as the ability to adapt to the needs of students within your care to ensure active engagement in lessons. The position is expected to commence early November 2024, although an earlier start date may be considered for the right applicant.
The Secondary School has an excellent reputation, setting high standards for behaviour and academic achievement for all students. Part of the Delta Academy Trust, the school caters for students aged 11-16 within supportive surroundings. You will join a passionate staff team, dedicated to delivering the best possible educational experience for students, through effective collaboration, strong behaviour management and excellent pastoral care.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teacher, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
