We have a wonderful opportunity for a confident and organised Head of Department to join the MFL Department on a full-time basis from January 2025. You will be responsible for effective leadership and organisation of the Languages Department, working in collaboration with the existing Senior Team to establish high-quality lessons and effective progression for pupils across the KS3/4 French and Spanish curriculum.

The Secondary School, situated in Doncaster is part of the Delta Academies Trust. They understand the importance of learning a modern foreign language and believe that every single one of their pupils should have that opportunity.  You will join a strong staff team, promoting the core values of the academy and enabling effective progression for all pupils within your care.

You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, salary is negotiable depending on experience.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Specialism in French/Spanish at KS3/4
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
