Principal Resourcing are seeking experienced and friendly Higher Level Teaching Assistant’s to provide general cover across our partnership Primary Schools based in the Wakefield area with immediate start.
You will be confident supporting pupils across all Key Stages to positively progress and learn in a safe and nurturing environment. You will ideally have strong KS1 and KS2 curriculum knowledge and experience.
This role could suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is looking to gain extra experience within the classroom. We have flexible roles available on both a daily and long-term basis to meet your needs.
You will work as part of the staff team to provide ongoing teaching and learning support for pupils in the Teachers absence. Ensuring consistency of care and learning support, adapting lesson input to meet the needs of pupils and communicating effectively with the existing staff team.
We welcome applications from experienced Practitioners, salary is negotiable depending on experience.
As a HLTA, you must be confident:
- Teaching groups of children in the Teachers absence
- Supporting young learners to reach their full potential
- Reacting to children’s interests to offer a child centred approach
- Providing opportunities that will excite and ignite a passion for learning
- Ensuring children are engaging in their learning and actively participating
- Setting the highest expectations for behaviour management
We are seeking Practitioners with:
- A full and relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
