We have a wonderful opportunity for an experience and adaptive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the staff team at one of our partnership Catholic Primary Schools based in York. The part-time role will provide ongoing support for pupils in the teachers absence with immediate start. You will be confident delivering a range of curriculum subjects, adapting lesson input to meet the diverse needs of learners across KS1/2 to meet the needs of the school.
The Catholic Primary are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational HLTA who is committed to providing a high standard of teaching and learning within a lovely, supportive environment. You will ideally have at least 2 years experience in a similar role or be an ECT seeking to expand their skillset across a range of key stages. We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day, depending on experience.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant Standards or equivalent
- Minimum qualifications of 5 GCSE passes at C Grade or above, including Maths and English OR equivalent
- 2 years practical experience of working with children within an educational setting
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
