Are you a confident HLTA with SEND experience?
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnership Primary School from September 2025. You will be responsible for ensuring a nurturing learning environment in the Teachers absence, delivering a range of suitably adapted lessons to meet the needs of SEND children within the alternative provision unit.
The Primary School based in Barnsley (S71), caters for pupils aged 3-11 years within welcoming surroundings. You will join a supportive staff team on a full-time basis, enabling a calm and creative space for SEND pupils to access the curriculum and build confidence across a range of curriculum subjects. The position is expected to become permanent for the right candidate.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role dependent on experience.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEND/SEMH pupil progression.
- Ability to adapt learning to meet the unique needs of learners.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
