Are you looking for a new challenge in the Leeds area?

Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a wonderful opportunity for a fun and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the key stage 1 classroom from September 2025. You will be responsible for engaging students in a diverse range of learning activities, ensuring effective behaviour management and working alongside the Class Teacher to promote positive interactions and a supportive learning environment for all pupils.

The inclusive Primary School based in the LS16 area of Leeds, is proud to offer a warm and welcoming place of learning, where pupils and staff feel happy and supported to thrive!

You will become part of a friendly staff team, with a focus on positive wellbeing and confidence building across a range of curriculum subjects. The full-time role will initially be on a temporary basis until August 2026, with the possibility of extension dependent on the needs of the school.

We offer competitive rates of pay, you can expect to earn up to £100 per day dependent on experience.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting KS1 pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
