Are you a friendly and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher based in Pontefract?
We are actively seeking to appoint a KS2 Teacher to join one of our diverse Primary Schools, based in the WF9 area of Pontefract. The full-time role is expected to commence September 2025 and will provide a high quality learning experience for pupils of all abilities. Previous experience teaching KS2 subjects is essential, as well as the ability to set strong expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Primary School are looking for applicants that are highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about improving the young lives of pupils and raising standards across all curriculum subjects. You must be wiling to contribute to the wider school community and be an excellent team player. This role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant. The school aspire to support all children to become confident, secure and caring individuals who show tolerance and respect for others and feel positive about developing their learning skills and understanding.
We welcome applications from experienced Teacher, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 dependent on experience. This role is not suitable for ECT’s.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
