We have an opportunity for a confident and organised Learning Supervisor to provide full-time support across one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in the WF8 area of Wakefield.
The position is available with immediate start for the right applicant and has the potential to become permanent.
The Secondary School aims to provide a first class education for all students, allowing them to make outstanding progression and gain the life chances they deserve. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard working and committed Learning Supervisor to join the staff team.
You will compliment the staff team by supervising lessons in the teachers short-term absence, ensuring active participation in learning, positive communications and effective support in line with pre-planned lessons.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.
The ideal applicant will:
- Have a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
- Offer a friendly manner and ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
- Work effectively as part of a team, but is also able to work independently using their own initiative.
- Have experience of working in a similar specialist area.
We are seeking applicants with:
- Previous experience delivering lessons in the Teachers absence.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Minimum Grade C or above in GCSE Maths, English & Science.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum at KS3/4.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
