Are you seeking a part time support role from September 2025?

 

Then this could be the opportunity for you… we are actively recruiting for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join one of our vibrant Secondary Academies, based in Wakefield.

You will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of pupils with a range of learning needs, ensuring effective understanding, progression and support to meet their needs.

The Secondary School offers warm and welcoming place of learning, where staff and students work together to achieve to the best of their ability. You will work alongside the existing staff team, to promote high-quality, engaging learning that enhances the learning and development of all students within your care.

You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

 

The School are seeking applicants with:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to relate well to children and young people
  • Experience of working with, or caring for children or young people of relevant age

We are seeking an LSA with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
