We are actively seeking to appoint an organised and friendly Maths Teacher to join the staff team at one of our inclusive Secondary Schools based in Huddersfield, HD7. The full-time role is expected to commence ASAP until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the delivery of engaging Maths lessons at KS3/4, ensuring positive progression and improved understanding of the topic for all students within your care.
The Secondary Academy is part of the Great Heights Academy Trust, aiming to enable all students to achieve to the best of their ability through high quality teaching and support. The inclusive school recognise and celebrate difference, with staff working together to ensure effective communication, positive progression and high engagement across all subjects. You will be confident delivering challenging and creative Maths lessons that encourage active participation and confidence building for pupils of all abilities.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
We are seeking a Maths Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
