We have a unique opportunity for an Outdoor Education Instructor to join the welcoming staff team at one of our Specialist Provision Schools based in Harrogate. You will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and adapted outdoor learning activities for pupils with a range of SEN/SEMH needs.

You will join an experienced staff team, enhancing the learning environment, educational intervention and support for pupils with a range of complex SEN/SEMH needs. The full-time role is available with immediate start and will involve pupil support both inside and outside the classroom to meet the needs of learners. You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and be trained in team teach.
Ideal applicants will have:
- Understanding of SEN/SEMH needs
- Experience working with children across Primary/Secondary
- Knowledge of reasons that impact behaviour
- Willingness to engage with training on Trauma, Mental Health and Therapeutic CPD
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and ensure pupil safety at all times
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on your experience and the role requirements.
