Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a wonderful opportunity for a caring and patient Pastoral Support Assistant to join the staff team at one of our thriving Secondary Schools based in Leeds (LS14).

The full-time role will provide ongoing pastoral support for KS3/4 pupils, promoting positive well-being and instilling effective behaviour management strategies. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, the position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the school.

The inclusive Secondary School, caters for pupils aged 11-18 years within supportive surroundings. They are proud to offer an exceptional learning experience for all students, regardless of background and ability. You will become part of a supportive pastoral team, engaging pupils in the curriculum and helping them to build confidence in their abilities.

You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.

We are seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in pastoral care or a similar role.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting KS3/4 pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
