We have an exciting opportunity for a KS2 Teacher to join our talent pool in Leeds, providing part-time teaching cover for pupils across the KS2 curriculum with immediate start. The position will initially be on a temporary basis until July 2024 to meet the needs of the school, you will primarily be responsible for delivering KS2 Science lessons.

The co-educational Primary School and Nursery caters for 219 children aged 2-11 years, within a rural setting. The school aims to offer a first-class education for all pupils, supporting them to become confident, hardworking and successful individuals.

The governors are seeking to appoint a passionate educator with a specialism or keen interest in Science to support pupils 3 days per week:

Tuesday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Wednesday/Thursday 8.30am – 3.30pm

You will work collaboratively as part of the welcoming staff team, to promote consistency in learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing and be committed to providing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all pupils within your care.

We welcome applications from experienced educators and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

 

Your role as a Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students in learning & build confidence.
  • Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care.
  • Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
  • Plan, deliver and assess student progression across the curriculum.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
