We are recruiting for a confident Science Teacher to join one of our partnership Secondary Schools from January 2026. You will provide full-time teaching cover for pupils across the Physics curriculum to meet the needs of the school.
The Secondary School are looking for a talented Science Teacher to promote consistency in learning, high achievement, positive wellbeing and be committed to providing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all pupils within their care.
Working hours will be Monday – Thursday 8am-3pm and Fridays 8am – 2.30pm.
The mixed comprehensive school is located in Leeds (LS28) and is proud to offer a thriving Secondary School and Sixth-form, where pupils feel well supported across a range of curriculum subjects.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.
Your role as a Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students in learning & build confidence.
- Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care.
- Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
- Plan, deliver and assess student progression across the curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
