We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Achievement Support Officer (Level 4 Teaching Assistant) to join our talent pool in Hull, providing full-time support for pupils across the Primary curriculum with immediate start. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join the enthusiastic Achievement Support team at one of our vibrant partnership Primary Schools. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils in their learning and emotional development. The successful candidate will be able to inspire, motivate and engage children in the learning process. They will have high expectations of behaviour and model good behaviour. They must be committed to work as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in ensuring inclusion of all children.

We welcome applications from experienced Support Staff and offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

Your role:

  • Deliver cover lessons in the Teachers short-term absence
  • Support and engage students in learning & build confidence.
  • Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care.
  • Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
  • Support students to positively progress, through suitable intervention.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking an ASO with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience delivering lessons in the Teachers absence.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
