Here at Principal Resourcing, we have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join one of our inclusive Secondary Schools and Sixth-Form Colleges based in Wakefield, WF3. The full-time role is expected to commence September 2024 and may become permanent for the right applicant.

The mixed Secondary School and Sixth-Form caters for pupils aged 11-19 as part of a diverse community of learning, centred on respect, tolerance, success and positive relationships.

You will ensure all students with additional needs have access to a variety of educational opportunities and learning support, through differentiated intervention and adapted resource. You will ensure maintenance of student records for personal and medical care, supporting their engagement in the learning process and liaising with the staff team to ensure consistency in care.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day, depending on experience.

 

We are seeking a SEN TA with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
