We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Chemistry to join the Science Faculty at one of our partnership Sixth-Form Colleges based in North-Lincolnshire, providing part-time teaching cover for pupils across the Chemistry curriculum with immediate start. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the College and is expected to become permanent for the right applicant.

The welcoming College caters for students aged 16-19 years within engaging surroundings, supporting students to enter post-16 education from around the world with great results. The campus is friendly and diverse with dedicated facilities to covering all curriculum areas, ranging from fully equipped laboratories in Chemistry to dark rooms in Photography and MUGA in Sport!

The College currently offers A-level Chemistry alongside a range of courses in Biology, Electronics, Engineering and Physics. Offering a support team of 2 technicians and a recently remodelled Allied Health Science block. You will be responsible for Teaching Chemistry to Year 1 and Year 2 students at A-level.

We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.

Your role as a Science Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students in learning & build confidence.
  • Adapt to the diverse needs of students within your care.
  • Maintain strong classroom management & promote high standards for learning.
  • Plan, deliver and assess student progression across the curriculum.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a positive and child-centred staff team.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
