We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and engaging Teacher of Geography to join the staff team at one of our supportive Secondary Schools based in Leeds, LS10.
The full-time position is available with immediate start and is expected to become permanent for the right applicant. You will ideally have previous experience teaching the Geography subject at KS3/4, although this is not essential.
The Secondary Academy offers an inclusive place of learning for pupils aged 11-18 years. You will join a supportive staff team, motivating and engaging students in learning, setting high standards for achievement and supporting them on their learning journey to become confident individuals with an excellent understanding of the Geography subject.
We welcome applications from experienced Teachers and offer competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day.
We are seeking a Geography Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
