Principal Resourcing have a fantastic opportunity for an engaging and passionate Teacher of Humanities to join one of our inclusive Secondary Schools based in Kirklees from September 2024. You will provide full-time teaching and learning support for pupils across the KS3/4 curriculum to meet the needs of the school. The position will initially be on a fixed term basis for one academic year and may be extended dependent on funding.

The vibrant Grammar School and College caters for pupils aged 11-18 within historic surroundings, offering a traditional educational experience centred on respect, honesty, integrity and courtesy. Striving for excellence for all pupils, the school offers a welcoming and supportive place of learning where staff and pupils work in partnership as part of a whole school community.

You will join the Humanities Department and be instrumental in inspiring and motivating students, playing a key role in helping to drive the academy forward, raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for all pupils within your care.

We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day depending on experience.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
