Principal Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for an organised and ambitious Teacher of Maths to join the staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Wakefield.

The full-time role is expected to commence January 2024 and is expected to become permanent for the right candidate. The school are seeking a driven and passionate Teacher of Maths to specialise in KS5 teaching and support students across KS4 with the transition to A-level and Core Maths. You will encourage students to take their Maths study into KS5 and beyond with creative and inspiring lessons that engage learners and build a passion for the subject.

You must have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Maths Subject, previous experience of KS5 is desirable though not essential. You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role depending on experience.

 

Skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of delivering curriculum subjects up to GCSE and A-Level
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • ECT’s are welcome to apply
  • You must have Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship
