Principal Resourcing have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Religious Studies Teacher to work in one of our diverse partnership Academy Schools based in York.
The part-time (0.8) role is expected to commence January 2024 and will be ongoing, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will collaborate effectively as part of a successful staff team to plan and deliver an engaging RE curriculum that caters to the individual needs of the pupils within your care. The main focus of the Subject Teacher’s role is fostering the learning and progress of the pupils in their care. This involves being an effective teacher of pupils as well as of the subject.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers. You can expect to be paid up to £230 per day depending upon your experience and the role requirements.
Skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- Previous experience of delivering curriculum subjects up to GCSE and A-Level
- A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
- ECT’s are welcome to apply
- You must have Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship
