Principal Resourcing are recruiting for a friendly and engaging Teacher of Science to join one of our supportive Secondary Schools based in York.
The position will initially be on a temporary basis from December 2023, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. You will provide Science subject cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 curriculum, on a day-to-day and long-term basis to meet the needs of the school.
You will be supporting learners to make excellent progress in one of the Core Subjects. The ideal candidate will be reflective in practice with a proactive approach to lesson planning and delivery, that provides an inclusive curriculum to meet the needs of all students.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
Skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications – QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- A relevant BA/MA in related subject
- Previous experience of delivering curriculum subject up to GCSE and A-Level
- A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
- ECT’s are welcome to apply
- You must have Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship
