We have a unique opportunity to join one of our innovative Secondary Schools based in the WF10 area of Castleford. You will work in collaboration with the Head of Technology, delivering a range of technology subjects across the key stage 3/4 curriculum.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Technology Teacher to make a real difference to the Department, through the delivery of creative and engaging lessons that excite and build a love of learning. You will be confident adapting teaching strategy to support the diverse needs of learners and promote an inclusive environment for learning and development.
The Secondary School is part of the Castleford Academy Trust and are proud to offer a rich and deep curriculum experience for pupils aged 11-19 years. Staff and pupils feel supported through strong leadership, inclusion and positive interactions that recognise individual talent and success. The full time role is expected to commence September 2025, part time applicants are welcome to apply.
We offer competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day, depending on experience. ECT’s are welcome to apply.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
