Principal Resourcing have a wonderful opportunity for a friendly and adaptive Teaching Assistant to provide full-time learning support for pupils at one of our Grammar Schools based in Wakefield, WF1. The position is expected to commence September 2024 and will initially be on a temporary basis with the potential of a permanent role for the right applicant.
The welcoming Grammar School caters for pupils aged 3-11 within supportive surroundings, offering a diverse and culture rich educational experience. You will join a friendly staff team, supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities to excel in a variety of curriculum subjects. Working closely with the existing staff team, you will ideally hold a Level 2 qualification in Classroom Support or equivalent and have the ability to adapt to the needs of pupils.
We welcome applications from experienced practitioners and offer competitive rates of pay up to £100, depending on your experience and the role requirements.
We are seeking a TA with:
- A full and relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
