Principal Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for a caring and organised Teaching Assistant to provide full-time teaching and learning support across one of our Primary Schools bases in North Yorkshire. The position is available with immediate start and is expected to become permanent for the right applicant.

The Primary School is part of the Coast and Vale Learning Trust, placing importance on a safe, welcoming environment for learning and positive progression. The school are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Teaching Assistant to work in collaboration with the Pastoral Team and SENCo Leader, providing effective intervention and support for pupils with a range of SEN needs and behavioural difficulties.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day depending on experience.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Ideally have previous experience in working with children and young people.
  • Have a genuine interest in supporting young people.
  • Be able to develop positive working relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other professionals.
  • Be willing to undertake and act on relevant professional development and training.
  • Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for our students.
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our students.
  • Be supportive, nurturing and understanding.
  • Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and written.

We are seeking a TA with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
