Principal Resourcing have a fantastic opportunity for a caring and supportive Teaching Assistant to join one of our Alternative Provision Schools with immediate start. You will become part of a thriving staff team, focused on high-quality learning and intervention for pupils with mild to moderate SEND/SEMH needs on a full-time basis.

The Specialist Provision School is part of the Wellspring Academy Trust, working across two sites in the Guiseley area of Leeds. The Community Special School offers fantastic learning opportunities for children and young people aged 4-19 years, with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will become part of a child-centred team, offering nurturing and personalised learning and support to enable pupils to reach their full potential.

We offer competitive rates of pay depending on experience, you can expect to earn up to £100 per day.

We are seeking a SEN TA with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN/SEMH pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • A patient, kind and nurturing approach.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
