Then, this may be the ideal role for you… we are seeking to appoint a caring and patient Teaching Assistant to join the staff team at one of our partnership Specialist Provision Schools from September 2025.
The Specialist School based in Leeds, caters for pupils aged 2-19 years with Educational Health Care Plans in place. You will join a strong staff team, supporting the learning and development of pupils with a wide range of SEND/SEMH needs, including profound, multiple and complex conditions, Autism and severe learning difficulties.
The School are seeking full time applicants with a real passion for supporting the diverse needs of their pupils and the ability to engage at all levels in learning opportunities and activities. Ideal applicants will have patience, understanding, energy and the willingness to learn and develop new skills throughout the role.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
- A caring, compassionate and nurturing approach.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
