We are seeking to appoint a confident and driven Teaching Assistant to provide full-time learning support and intervention for pupils across years 3-6. You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and be confident delivering 1:1 and small group interventions under the direction of the Class Teacher.
The full-time position is expected to commence September 2025 and will initially be on a temporary basis for 1 academic year.
The vibrant Junior School is located in WF10 area of Castleford and is part of the Castleford Trust. You will join a passionate staff team focused on achieving the best possible educational outcomes for all pupils, through the delivery of a supportive and engaging curriculum.
We offer competitive rates of pay, you can expect to earn up to £100 per day dependent on experience.
We are seeking Teaching Assistants with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
