Here at Principal Resourcing, we are seeking a confident and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the friendly staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools from September 2024, providing full-time learning support and guidance for pupils across the KS1 curriculum. Part-time applications may be considered.

The welcoming Primary School based in the East Riding of Yorkshire offers all pupils an excellent, child centred education that supports them to develop as confident, lively thinkers with enquiring minds. The ambitious curriculum is taught in distinct areas,  with the children gaining strengths in the core subjects of English, maths and science, and equally developing knowledge and skills as, for example, historians, geographers and artists.

You will work under the direction of the class teacher and the SENCO, you will support the teaching of pupils, working collaboratively to establish a dynamic, nurturing learning environment in which children make outstanding academic progress.

We offer competitive rates of pay up to £100 per day depending on experience.

We are seeking applicants with:

  • A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
