Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint a caring and experience Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the welcoming staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in York. The part-time role will provide ongoing learning support and intervention for KS3/4 pupils with a range of learning needs and is available with immediate start. You will be confident adapting support to meet the diverse needs of learners and effectively progress learning across a range of subjects to meet the needs of the school. The role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant.
You will possess GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and maths and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or be willing to obtain this. In addition, you will have experience of successfully working with children and young people who have SEMH needs.
The inclusive Secondary School are seeking a passionate and hardworking Level 3 Practitioner to join the staff team and enhance the curriculum offer for pupils requiring an alternative pathway in education. You will be confident working closely with colleagues to support pupils’ academic and SEMH needs, delivering a differentiated curriculum and specific interventions to enhance pupils’ personal development.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.
We are seeking a Level 3 TA with:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEMH pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
