We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join the supportive staff team at one of our partnership Primary Academies from September 2025.
The welcoming Primary Academy is situated in picturesque surroundings on the outskirts of Wakefield. Priding themselves on a happy, caring and inclusive setting that recognises the individual talents of pupils and staff and celebrates difference!
You will join the Year 6 classroom on a full-time basis, taking responsibility for an engaging and challenging teaching syllabus that ensures positive progression and understanding across a range of subjects.
Previous experience and knowledge of SAT’s is essential, as well as the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain on tasks and motivated to learn.
We welcome applications from experienced Teachers or ECT’s with extensive Year 6 experience, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Previous experience supporting and implementing SAT’s is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Year 6 Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
