Training from our expert professionals
We offer a range of tailored face to face training and mentoring both bespoke, and as part of our ‘Get into the Classroom’ initiative and ECT mentoring programme. Training is delivered by one of our in house professionals both of whom have a varied career in education.
Kerry Holt joined the company in 2021 with 21 years’ experience as a Teaching assistant, Kerry is well placed to know the demands of the classroom. Originally recruited to develop our “Get in the Classroom” initiative, Kerry now splits her time between partnering schools with their staffing solutions and developing our candidates’ skills.
Dawn Dowdle is our in house ECT Mentor & Phonics Lead. With 33 years’ experience in Primary Teaching, including KS1 and Senior Leadership roles, SCITT and GTP mentoring, and as a Phonics lead. Experienced in planning and delivering Systematic Synthetic Phonics Programmes including Read Write Inc. Dawn is now up skilling our Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
The National College
All of our Teachers and Support Staff have access to an extensive range of certified courses, webinars and podcasts through The National College. All written and delivered by experts. this platform is used by many schools and academies, and allows our supply staff CPD that they would often miss out on as supply. With a range of topics including safeguarding, curriculum, SEND, and behaviour management, as part of our Supply Team you can continue to grow, develop and enhance your toolkit.
